Introduction

With far cry 1 and 2, far cry used to be a much more serious and punishing series. You really have to think about what you are going to do. With the addition of far cry 3, the far cry series has turned into a much more action oriented and casual game. Where you are the hero and can kill 50 men in under a minute. To explain the flaws of the game however, we need to first look at its developer, Ubisoft studios. They make a lot of open world games. The criticism is, all of them use the same template. In order to get players to explore the map, there are points scattered across that the player needs to “claim” think of it as putting the flag on the moon.
Every year, the same flag on a different moon.

Gameplay

What far cry 5 did differently was they have three main areas, each with their own independent series of main missions. The missions tie together into the story, but it is up to the player which to complete first. Also, with this new installment, there are much side more activities for you to do to level up and gain ability points which are spend on upgrades like being able to carry more ammunition or the ability to use a parachute. Not forgetting that when a new sub area is discovered by the player, he gains experience points, making him closer to levelling up.

However, the game itself is still rather bland. They make up story where the player is the main protagonist and needs to kill off the big villain. On the journey he is able to shoot down men like paper in order to make the player feel like a “badass”.
