Introduction

Day Of Infamy is a front-line focused FPS World War II themed game. Like other games, DOI have traditional game modes like Stronghold which is attack and defend. Capture the enemy objective and your team respawns. Liberation. Control points, each team will try to capture all three objectives to win. What is different about DOI is that you have a base of 10 points for you to choose your equipment. (Guns, armour, attachments etc.)Doing an objective will nett you additional points, meaning you will be able to either carry more things or use better equipment.

Gameplay

DOI isn't your typical run and gun game where you shoot and run about mindlessly. In this game, you would need to move together with your team and take strategic positions in order to pick off the enemy team. soldier aiming at enemy
There are a few classes to choose from. Notable ones are : the Officer, being able to call an airstrike with the aid of a teammate with a radio kit. The Flame Thrower, which is rather self-explanatory. Though in this game, the fire bounces off walls and thus you are able to kill yourself and teammates on accident rather easily or you can take advantage of this to kill enemies behind cover / not in your line of sight. I would say that the most important thing to have in order to win is team communication. For example, an officer cannot call down an airstrike without a radio kit. Of course, the thing i enjoy most about this game is massively killing the enemy team with either a good position and a Light Machine Gun or running to their spawn with a German rocket launcher.
